12/31/2010 – Downtown Friday Market
Main Street Vero Beach has announced a new Downtown Friday Market, beginning Friday October 1 and continuing every Friday from noon until 6:00 pm in Historic Downtown Vero Beach. Susan Viviano will manage this new and improved event, held on the corner of 14th Avenue and 21st Avenue, also known as the Heritage Center Corner. Main Street is looking for traditional farmer’s market vendors for fruit, vegetables, plants, seafood, honey, baked goods, coffee, nuts, sauces, condiments and gourmet food. The Downtown Friday Market will also feature crafts, jewelry, handmade soaps, clothing and many organic items. The basic booth fee is $30 or $100 for four weekly booths paid in advance. Food vendors will be available for lunch, dinner and take-home meals. A DJ will provide music each week from noon to 4:00 pm and live entertainment will be presented from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Many Downtown businesses will also feature Friday Specials. Main Street Vero Beach will have a booth and with information about sales and special offers. Parking for the market is available behind the City of Vero Beach Tennis Courts and in the Courthouse Parking Garage.
