Vero Beach, Florida Area Information

Vero Beach Art Club

The Vero Beach Art Club (VBAC) is a non-profit organization which has been around for almost 75 years promoting the arts and art education in Vero Beach and the Treasure Coast.  Currently it has approximately 500 members who are very active throughout the tri-county area.

The VBAC is the organizer for the well known and highly attended Under the Oaks Arts & Crafts Show held in March every year and was voted Best Arts and Crafts Show in Florida by Florida Monthly Magazine and is in the Top 200 Art Shows in the Nation by Sunshine Artist and Art Fair Sourcebook.  This show brings in over 80,000 visitors each year and is one of the largest events on the Treasure Coast.

Housed in the Vero Beach Museum of Art, the VBAC offers many activities and shows in the community to promote all art to the public.  A monthly meeting is held at the museum from October to May which is free and open to the public and offers a new and interesting art-related speaker each month.  The VBAC also provides 3 to 5 scholarships every year to local high school seniors going on to an accredited college or university with a fine arts course of study.

The four main events of the club are Under the Oaks; Art in the Park (8+ art shows at Humiston Park per season); Art by the Sea which is a prestigious judged art show held at the Vero Beach Museum of Art; and our Art Trail Tour, which is an intimate tour of ten artist's studios/homes around Vero Beach.

The Vero Beach Art Club is a very active and vital cultural link to the community through its members, educational oportunities, workshops, open studios and networking connections.
