Thompson Magnet
Dear Students, Parents, and Community Members,
I am honored to serve as the principal of Thompson Magnet School for the 2009-2010 school year. I recognize how hard the Thompson Staff has worked during this past year. Their hard work is reflected by the “A” rating that they received from the state of Florida. The staff is well trained and highly motivated. The success of a school however, is always a team effort and with the help and support from our parents and our community, I am confident that Thompson Magnet School will continue its forward motion. It is my pledge to do everything possible to promote a positive school environment, which is safe and secure and supports student achievement at its highest levels. Our Expeditionary Learning Program is filled with rigor and provides engaging activities for all of our Thompson Students. We are the only school in the state that is involved in this program.
It is easy to understand why I am filled with great pride as I take on the assignment as Principal of this outstanding school!
