American artist Lowell Fox was born in August, 1947 and has lived and worked throughout Texas, the Southwest & South, all across Canada coast to coast and much of Mexico. He has supported his family in the architectural millwork/lumber industry as well as with his painting shown in many prestigious galleries, group shows, solo shows and by performing with blues and jazz bands playing piano in clubs, concerts, tours, recording sessions, studio work, TV and radio both in Canada and the U.S.

Lowell has painted all his life, since he was a small child. His work has gone from representational to impressionist to abstract to experimental to realist to abstract expressionist over the years. No longer concerned with labels, he lets the subject determine the genre. He has given much to charities that he feels make a real contribution. He lives with his wife, an author and educator, painting in the small fishing town of Sebastian on Florida's Atlantic coast ... a Florida resident since '91.
